In case you haven't gathered from the recent flurry of Christmasy posts, I love this time of year!  Back home in England, my sisters and I headed into the heart of London to admire the lights at Covent Garden.

Covent Garden's cobbled square and market buildings are always irresistible, but add a bit of festive decor and you can't help but get into a Christmasy mood.

The central shopping arcade becomes a winter wonderland with giant baubles...



...a huge Christmas tree twinkles on the west side of the square...

...and a majestic 22-feet tall silver reindeer dazzles on the east side.
This reindeer is even joined by live reindeer on Saturday afternoons 12-4pm.

The local retailers also get into the festive spirit!
