To fuel ourselves for our sightseeing day in Zurich, we headed out for brunch.
We decided to go to Hiltl. Established in 1898 it is the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world, according to the 'Guinness World Records'.
The outside is striking ...
And the buffet is AMAZING!
We were not quite sure what to do ... it turns out you take a plate and help yourself to over 100 different buffet items ...
... Before having it weighed and ordering your drinks.
Before settling down to a feast and chat.
Some of the highlights of our plates included ...
Chia yoghurt - a first for me and one I will definitely be making at home
Quinoa Patties
Chia Pudding - Lisa loved, though I thought it was more like eating sweet frog spawn!
The place was bustling and They also do take-away boxes so You Could Easily pick up something for lunch or dinner.
Definitely worth at least one visit if you're in the city.

This looks absolutely amazing! I can't believe the oldest vegetarian restaurant was actually founded in the 1800s! That's mind boggling!
