Sunday = cake. fact.

Munich is pretty dead on Sundays. Nothing is open. The only exceptions are some bakeries and cafes. Fortunately the cute cake shop opposite my apartment is open! Many a time it’s been my saviour, when I have forgotten / run out of time to go food shopping.

So on a snowy ice-cold Sunday some friends and I bundled into the cozy venue and settled down for a girlie catch-up over some well-deserved cake.

We warmed up with some coffees first.

Followed by red wine cake for me…yum!

It definitely helps to combat the pre-Monday blues!
