I like a good walk…preferably flat, interesting and finishing at a pub! One sunny day, my sisters and I decided to go for a 2 hours walk around Windsor Great Park.
Windsor Great Park is a large deer park, approx 5,000 acres on the Berkshire-Surrey border. It is largely open to the public but was originally the private hunting ground of the nearby Windsor Castle.
It has gorgeous and varied scenery, including a totem pole (a gift from British Columbia), an artificial waterfall and Virginia Lake as well as an abundance of flowers, plants, bushes and trees.
