Spanish Summer - Mama's birthday

Mama's birthday arrived whilst we were in Spain and we were keen to celebrate!

 
At lunch, we served up an assortment of desserts for Mama’s birthday cake…a pudding tapas!

We all had a little taster…

We also had sunset rooftop bubbles to celebrate. 

 
It was a little windy that day - great for kite-surfing, not so much for posing!

Before heading down to the port to eat at a great fish restaurant - La Taberna de Lucia.

Right on the harbour front.

We had a amazing (& fishy!) feast.  Comprising of octopus salad...

…mixed fried seafood and fish

 

…scallops

…tuna tartar (highly recommend!)

…and then the highlight - a full john dory fish baked in salt.

Along with a man to ‘free’ the fish for us!

Followed by a little dessert to mark the occasion!

 Happy Birthday, Mama!
